The Run That Could Win It Or Break It
I grab my heart as it pumps violently in my chest. A sudden push hits my shoulder, I look at the person next to me but they ignore me. I propel myself forwards as I fight through the pain of how much I want to win.
I look up and see the beautiful sun glimmering in the sky. I realise this is my chance. I've trained too long to hold back now. I can win! I could see the finish line then… SNAP! Shooting pain in my ankle. I collapse onto the hard solid ground beneath me.
