Catherine's 100 Word Challenge Week 3

Prompt: ...But how would I know...

Justice

Accusations hover around me grasping, strangling me, trying to change the disgusting truth. Innocence is the only protection I have fighting for my justice. Poisoned minds try to control me, hunting me down like a famished lion until I give in. Grievance lingers around me clutching me down trying to help.

They say I was the vicious murder. “Who else was with you?” They ask, but how would I know? I wasn’t the murderer. Nobody believes me. Bars surround me trapping me from my freedom. Guards stroll around ignoring my pleas for help.
This is my life.
There’s no escape.
