100WC week 26

So there I was sitting at my desk, the usual. Science, same time everyday, doesn’t change! No one seems to enjoy science that much, because it’s too boring...

Anyway the teacher says the word “mitochondria.” Frowns appeared across the classroom, then the teacher speaks “Does anyone want to have a go at what the word means?”

“Does it mean a bolt or a screw?” the boy sitting next to me has a go.

“No, it’s something as minute as a ant's eye!” the teacher replies softly.

“But how can something so tiny be invented?” the girl across from me mentioned.

  1. A really imaginative response to the question, a great fun piece of writing The words really flow and don't feel as if they are just stuck in for the sake of it. Great use of grammar and punctuation (especially your extensive use of quotation marks). Keep up the good work!
