Week  23

“What a lovely day!” said Tom as he was walking to work (he would drive but he is too clumsy.) Tom had golden yellow hair and worked at the local animal shelter. However Tom had discovered that he had a remarkable talent for being extremely clumsy.

One day when Tom strolled into the shelter, he saw everyone crowded around one corner in the room like a swarm of bees. He marched over to investigate and saw a tiny kitten.  A nurse gingerly handed him the kitten and from that moment on he knew he had found his new best friend.

Week 23 Miya

I was heading with my friend to the cupcake store after school. We usually went every Tuesday for afternoon tea. There were amazing flavours from A to Z. We always got the melon … however there was a new flavour we discovered, Tutti Frutti. We were so desperate to taste it! Since it was such a posh place we both gingerly sat down at the yellow table. The Tutti Frutti tasted remarkable. We were so eager to bring some home with us. We both completely forgot to pick up our wallets on the way out.

Two hours later … no!

I now crown you queen. The sound of happiness rushed through Issy’s excited heart. She jumped gingerly but as she landed her glass slipper caught on her remarkable pink with blue and yellow lace ball dress. She let out a scream. “Oh no now I will never find my king” she screamed. She ran off weeping. But as she did a king caught a glimpse of her and fell in love. He knew that if he stayed there he would never see her again so he ran after her. As he got closer and closer he discovered her glass slipper ...                       

100wc week 23 the dress-up porcupine by Ava

There was once a man named Bill. Bill wore a yellow hat with bananas on it, and had a remarkable Asian porcupine called Abigail. The problem was, Abigail liked dressing up as chairs. Pincushions were her favourite dress up. One day Bill came home from work and proceeded to sit in his favorite chair, however, all the chairs were gone! Bill looked around, and he saw a chair that looked comfy, so he sat down, then jumped up painfully! He then discovered that Abigail had been dressing up again! He removed her, then gingerly sat back down. Muahahahaha, said Abigail.

Week 23 Henrietta

I found a small little stray cat, however, this cat was pretty special but unusual. On Thursday before school I had painted a remarkable picture of a big bright sunflower. I came home and saw the cat’s paws were yellow. I tried to figure out how they got yellow. Oh no! She had discovered my painting! I gingerly sat down stroking the cat whispering “I've got a test tomorrow, I hope I do well.”

It was on my mind while I walked to school.

I came running home shouting “I did awesome in my test!” The cat gave me luck!

week 23 wc

On a windy and stormy night there were three people on the couch. They were eating a yellow pineapple. However they were watching a remarkable movie they never thought that they would watch: Hunt for the Willder People. But when one of the guys went to go and get something to eat when he came back he discovered that they started the movie without him. Then the guy just sat down very calm and gingerly he was mad. The other guys thought that he was going to yell at them but he didn’t. He just carried on watching the movie.

Week 23 Cathlin

The yellow street light was dim on the road. The floorboards creaked underneath my feet. I gingerly opened our front door. I ran out the door facing the dangerous woods I was scared. I had to keep going. I ran taking no notice what was lurking behind the trees. I looked at the remarkable trees surrounding me.  I ran thinking what had happened what had I discovered? I ran until I couldn’t move. In front of me stood a pond, the water was clear as crystals. I drank the water to refresh myself. However suddenly a shadow lurked behind me.
