Week 23 Bridget

“And now we have the great, fabulous, remarkable… Mikey Mutton!”
“Hello, hello! A few years ago I discovered my talent. However I didn’t find it useful until I joined the Mr. Yellow Show. It’s fabulous, really! Of course, I’m a dad joke teller. Who loves dad jokes?” Silence spread across the hall. “OK,” Mikey starts blushing.
Mickey snatches a ginger teddy out of his bag. “I’m going to place this teddy down on the chair very gingerly. That’s funny; I said gingerly and the bear’s ginger.”
Suddenly a wave of people stood up and stomped out of the door angrily.

Sophie's 100WC Week 23

There once was a little boy called Bobby. Everyone adored him. His favourite colour was yellow, however the city he lived in had a strict ‘no yellow’ policy but Bobby always broke to rules to brighten up his day. One day Bobby discovered something remarkable. A sunflower growing in the darkest part of the city. Bobby took the sunflower home. He took very good care of it. One day the local gang came around to beat up Bobby when they saw the sunflower they ran off with fright. Someone told the council and Bobby has to sit down very gingerly.

The Most Embarrassing Moment - Week 22

The lights went out.Suddenly I remembered. The Thing, carrying me away from my kitchen. Where was I? I wondered.I looked around.Everything was …….Bouncy? Oh No. I realised where I was.I pushed up , heaving my body out of the ball pit I was in.I was correct. I was in the most terrifying, scary, most humiliating place in the world for teenagers. The Ball Pit At The Daycare Centre. And EVERYONE was staring at me. Laughing.At.Me.I dived back into the ball pit, my cheeks burning.Could this day get any worse? It could.

Shanelle 100 wc week 22

On a hot day there were these strange people at the gym. They always go to the gym but not that kind of gym, it was a laughter gym. When they go to the gym, they get out a mat and lie down. Then the teacher gives them a topic and he leaves the room. He eventually comes back in half an hour and they’re still full of laughter. When everyone went home there were only two people still there because they passed out from laughter. Then they got up, but the next day they could not talk because they were laughing.

100wc Week 22

If you’ve looked at last week’s prompt … suddenly the lights went out… you’ll know what I’m talking about!
🔺🔺🔺
All engrossed within our work (ish)… flickr. I look up at the lights. The lights just stare back at me, looking innocent. I glance around at the other students, no one seemed to have noticed, except me. Accepting that it was just my imagination I peer back at my book. The lights extinguish. “All of a sudden the lights went out!” said a doomed but familiar voice. After that we all took off laughing and this was a very contagious one!

Mels 100 WC Week 22

My sister Lucy is the funniest, disgustingest sister ever. At the moment she’s creating a revolting farting machine for April Fools Day! She’s been practising it on me all year and I don’t like one bit of it. Usually she uses it on me at the dinner table and mum goes ballistic at me and I end up in my room without any dinner. Today it’s April Fools Day. Lucy woke me up with the devastating farting machine and shoved mum into the car. Just as we arrived the farting machine fell to 1000 pieces and Lucy started to cry...

Today I wanted to laugh, but here are the reasons why I couldn't. Firstly, I woke up to hear my mum disappointed, because Abbie had dropped one of her favourite plates. I mean come on! Today it’s Sunday, I needed to have my sleep in. Secondly I came home from swimming finding my brother vomiting. Then one hour later I felt sick, sadly mum had recovered from her plate, so she told me I had to stay home. Well that didn't work out because I missed Dad’s works carnival. There were lots of reasons but these were the number two worst reasons.
